Teenage girl withCrouzon syndrome demonstrating typical midface retrusion, short nose, and severe Class III malocclusion (underbite). A single operation was done to advance the midface (LeFort III), add bone to the nose, advance the upper jaw (LeFort I), and a small lower jaw operation (subapical osteotomy)

Note the midface retrusion and hypoplasia. Surgery improved cheekbone projection, lengthened the nose, and brought her teeth into better occlusion.

Note the severely deficient cheek projection and its improvement after surgery

3D CAT scan of same patient before surgery. A ventriculoperitoneal shunt is seen on the back of the skull.
